Hi all,
Well after reading numerous reviews and going over a ton of posts I have decided on the Garmin 550. Now all I need is a reputable place to buy it without having to sacrifice my right arm. The first place I ordered it from had a great price and then I had to call to confirm the order and they tried to sell me a SD card for an outrageous price. Lo and behold the Garmin was then out of stock when I wouldn't buy their overpriced card. I dug deeper afterwards and found there are 3 or 4 stores in NY that try this tactic. So anyhow, who has the best deal on the 550? Thanks, Gary |

Re: GPS Sellers
Don't buy any electronic goods from NY. They're either re-furbished or they keep the extras that come with the box and try to sell it to you.
I got mine from Amazon. |

Re: GPS Sellers
I got a Garmin Nuvi 650 through Amazon, great price.
I was looking at the 550's and found them to be at least $200.00 less through Amazon.com , try them. I also found some good prices at gpscity.com |

Re: GPS Sellers
Another vote for gpscity here. I got my quest 2 from them and had a problem with the cradle. They put a replacement in the mail immediately without waiting for my return.
I would not buy from any place that is not an authorized garmin dealer. you can have problems if you need their help later.
