I didn't quite know what to make of this. I took this with my old cell phone camera on the way to work a while back, rollin' down I-40. I guess Chevys really are professional grade.
One of those things you just have to do a double take and ask "really?" "Seriously?"

My grandmother's 100th birthday acknowledgment by the city council. My grandmother has a more consistently positive outlook on life in general than 99.9% of the people in the world, which is most likely one important factor in her longevity.

 D5000  iPhone  6 MP Fuji point-n-shoot, April '08  iPhone  Ralph Nader's favorite car, iPhone. I was stopped behind this car at a light while riding Street Boeing I, and I took my iPhone out of my jacket and took a shot before the light turned green.

Interesting! I remember hearing about that when Nader's book came out. I was born in '58, so I don't remember hearing about Kovacs' death when he died (all I remember from '62 is Bobby Richardson having to tie his shoe between pitches and not getting back in position to play where every 2nd baseman played McCovey as a dead-pull hitter, and the liner being right where Richardson was, and my baseball dreams being crushed in Game 7;-)
"Unsafe at Any Speed" came out in '65, and I definitely remember Kovacs' crash being mentioned in discussions of the book.
