I'm in... Hopefully the wife can get the time off also. I will remain silent on the where and let you all hash it out. the only weekend that is bad for me is the last weekend of aug.

OK, the girlie ride has been set for July 12th-15th; Now lets start plugging dates in for the Ore-Cal ride. As for some unknown gender issue; I cannot attend the Girlie ride so I'm good for any weekend; those who are attending the girlie ride speak up on how many weekends in-between you want to see....

I should know my concert schedule soon. Even if there is a Sunday nighter, I could do MOST of the ride.

Since both the GR and OR/CA rides are in my back yard, I don't need any weekends in between. I'll go along with whatever schedule works for others.

Friday June 29 thru Monday July 2nd or

(Pashnit girlie ride July 12 ,13, 14, 15)

Friday July 27th thru Monday July 30th

The weather is usually nicer in late June. Get into late July and you're pushing up against them hot August nights. Be aware though, early July is when the hippie fest, errr High Sierra Music Festival is held in Quincy. Getting lodging might be difficult for that last day or so of the ride if you plan on staying in the Quincy area and the vehicle traffic will be picking up as well. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread so as to see where the riding routes are going to be and what dates are picked. Then I can try to schedule some time off from work. I earn vacation time, I might as well use it.

Maybe the late June/early July weekend would be better. The AMA women's conference and moto gp are both that last weekend in July, IIRC. And Ray is right - the temps will be cooler in late June.

So; with the comments, I think the date should be set for June 30th (Saturday) and July 1st (Sunday). Those traveling from further might want to take a Friday and/or Monday off work (if you work) like myself.
We can discuss the destination a bit more.

Break out your pen and write these dates on the calendar.
