Have anyone here every heard of the Honda Tiger? It is a bike i ride alot in Indonesia. Just wondering if anyone has ever heard about it. It's only 200cc but here the biggest they allow is 250 so it is big for here. I will try to post a picture about it asap.

Re: The Grand Tour of Pashnit California- Ocean, Mountains & Giant Sequoias

I ran accross your site quite by accident but knew I had to take an active part in it since I've been and avid biker for years now. (I won' t mention just how many)
I started on a Yamaha 250 2 cycle in the late 70's and have since owned a Honda 550 four, an 84 Honda Magna, which I bought new, and just last year bought an 85 Yamaha 1100XV from a guy that was moving out of state. I rode the Magna from San Jose, Ca to Chicago and back in 1988 and had a blast. The bike ran real smooth and without a hitch. I'm an older bike fan because the engines are strong and easier to work on. I like the newer bikes also because they are smoother but I'm old school like I said.
I'm looking forward to swapping tales with my fellow riders and sharing experiences and roads. I welcome any and all feedback. take care and ride safe!

I just went thru this whole thread while sitting at my desk at work. It brought joy to my heart and brightened up a completely dreadful Thursday. I've ridden a few of those roads "back in the day" and plan on doing it again, as soon as I get my leaky carbs cured..........

p.s. - anyone notice the T-shirt Mrs LawDawg was wearing, proof positive that there are more of us Scots out there than you think........Abellendaine!!

G'day Tim, love your hayabusa- i am just about to get one what do you think of them? I'm coming of a Harley fatboy, do you think i would like it?

i was told that the performance is out of this world is that true. they say it is the Ultimate Machine. how about comfort looks like you have done a lot of riding on one. I am from Australia it would be nice if you could tell me about it. thank you.

Eli,
I went from this:

2002 Suzuki Hayabusa

The riding styles are quite different, which is why I switched to the "dark side." The Hayabusa is an absolute dream machine. It does everything I want. The leaned over position is a bit more tiresome than the kicked back cruiser style, but with some simple mods (Helibars, touring windscreen, gel seat) it is a pleasurable sport tourer. You can cruise through the twisties or rocket down the straights. I absolutely love mine. The performance is unbelievable. I don't think I'll ever be able to push this bike to it's limits. And as a side note...you'll get more looks and comments on the Busa than the Harley . The Hayabusa is a legend anywhere in the world. Shiny side up.

You should send a picture of your Busa to Killboy.com or tailofthedragon.com They would love a look at that bike of yours. Nice paint job!!!
