Scottoiler - MK7 & TK7
The World's Most Advanced Chain Oiler!.
Visa, MC, Amex, Discover,
Buy Now eSystem MK7 TK7 Lube Tube Dual Injector Product Home

This is a well-known chain oiling device that takes the thinking out of oiling your chain. Normal internet retail on this product runs $139-$169 plus ship so click on the Buy Now link to view the Pashnit pricing.

Why A Chain Oiler?

The best way to encourage chain longevity is to make sure you lube it regularily- a Scottoiler is a great way to take care of that for you. Metering lube just a little at a time while you're riding, the Scottoiler is a fantastic ‘set it and forget it’ way to deliver lubrication to the critical “link” in your bikes drivetrain.

Operating off of engine vacuum (the engine is unaffected), this device delivers an adjustable, precisely metered amount of oil to the inside of the chain run near the rear sprocket, and centrifugal force and capillary action ensure that oil gets to all parts of the links and plates comprising your chain (and not any extra on your wheel and tire). A must for touring riders, long-distance riders, and bad weather climates, the Scottoiler will prolong both o-ring and standard chain life as well as lengthening the time between adjustments.

Also, because the chain is lubed while you ride, the warmth of the operating chain takes oil better than a cold one. A quality product, used for years in the British Isles, in the midst of what they sportingly call ‘weather’. Fits all chain-drive bikes and installs in a neat factory-look manner.

Can more than double the life of a chain and sprocket set. Standard Model has a 50cc reservoir for a 500-1000 mi. range. The Touring Model has a 400cc reservoir a 4000-8000 mi. range and fits behind the license plate. (Note: You can refill with many types of oil.)

If you are used to oiling your chain with a spray then could a mechanical chain oiler be an overkill?  On first impressions maybe - but consider the cost of a replacement chain.  If a regular application of a very small amount of oil keeps it in tip-top condition and reduces the need for chain adjustment, is that not worth something?  Not to mention the vastly reduced mess caused by throw-off and the bother of spraying.

Proven to extend your chain life by up to 7 times!

There are two to choose from: Standard, Touring & some optional upgrades/strong>

The Oily Details
  • Keeps your chain in top condition & reduces the need for chain adjustment
  • Tested and enthusiastically accepted all over since the mid 1980's
  • Safe and reliable, the Scottoiler has German TÜV Standards approval, which is regarded by many to be the toughest Standards Organization in the world
  • The Scottoiler uses very little oil. 1 or 2 drops per minute is all it takes to keep the chain slightly moist
  • Standard and O-ring chains both need lubrication to maintain life and reduce sprocket wear
  • The Scottoiler is very easily installed by the home tuner or professional.
  • Scottoilers can be fitted to any chain drive motorcycle.
Scottoiler MK7 Standard Kit:

The Mark7 Universal kit gives a range of approximately 500 - 1000 miles between refills of the RMV (Reservoir Metering Valve), depending on the flow setting. The Universal Kit over the past year or so has had over 20 technical improvements, Dynojet T100 testing and extensive retooling.

Included: Comes with everything you need to install the oiler on your bike: has a range of fittings suitable for most bikes, (non standard adapters are available from Scottoiler), and includes a 500ml bottle of Scottoil, which should be enough for approximately 5,000 miles of lubrication. Revised design for improved summer and winter operation. The oil dispensing assembly can be bolted to the end, or glued to the underside of the swing arm.

Scottoil: The genuine Scottoil product works really well in most areas and climates. However if you are riding in Death Valley or have mounted the RMV close to the engine you may need to experiment with a thicker viscosity oil to provide a slow enough rate of flow. Some people use one oil for summer and another for winter riding.

Some bikes require additional adapters for installation. Please check for your model below:

The Skinny:

Why the Lube Tube & Dual Injector as options? Why not just stick with the base kit?

The base kit is just that- the base kit. The Dual Injector upgrade ensures chain oil is evenly distributed on both sides of the chain. Prolonging chain life is the name of the game here. Last chain I bought ran $220! Oh, and you always replace both sprockets with a chain swap. Another $100.

The Lube Tube is a great way to boost your range when space is tight. Since the tube is just that- a tube, you can mount it anywhere inside the bike. Along the fairing, under the seat, or in the tail section.

These are options you can upgrade your Scottoiler system with. Once you factor in the cost of chain and sprockets vs. a Scottoiler, not much thought involved. Just click Buy Now and will get a kit shipped out to you.
