Making yourself seen and visible is a big priority for many motorcyclists on todays motorways. "I never saw him" has to be the most appalling statement the English language has ever created. Yet you do have options, and there are accessories you can add to your ride to make that motorcycle less of a target- and more visible to fellow drivers on the road.
A light-emitting diode or LED is a semiconductor diode that emits incoherent narrow-spectrum light. This effect is a form of electroluminescence. Put more simply, LEDs are very small, yet emit very bright light. They also require very small amounts of power- to the tune of 1/8th amp.
Pashnit Moto provides auxilliary lighting in the form of 3" pairs, or a 6" light bar. Chose from several color options to match your bike. LED license plate frames are also available, as are Headlight Modulators and Brake Light Modules.

These high intensity LED products are designed to give greater visibility and conspicuity to your vehicle where light would be more useful. They are unique, because they have been engineered to function in both high and low intensity brightness for a multitude of applications. These lights are meant as auxilliary lighting and not to replace DOT brake or running lights.
Because many motorcycles have only one brake / running light bulb, these units can easily be used as back-up brake, and running lights, providing you a greater degree of safety.

| LED Light Installation Instructions |
Step 1 |
Before beginning make sure
your brake and running lights are working properly.
Note: For this installation example we are using crimp
type wire connectors (Not included). The use of these connectors is optional. The other
accepted method to splicing wires is to solder them, and then use heat shrink tubing to
seal them. In either case we have provided ample lengths of wire to splice our LED
Products into your bikes electrical system. One further note of caution, if any bare wires
are exposed as a result of this installation, wrap the exposed wires with electrical tape
to prevent any possibility of a short circuit. |
Step 2 |
Using a test light,
locate and note the color of the brake light "hot" (+) wire. This wire will
cause the test light to light when the brakes are applied, and go out when they are
released. Also locate one of the wires in your running light system. This wire will cause
the test light to light when the running lights are on, and go out when they are turned
off. |

Step 3 |
As an example the three wires to the
right are the ground (black), the brake light (red), and the running lights (yellow). |

Step 5 |
Connect the three wires from the LED
Product to your bikes wires as follows:
- Black - Ground
- Red - Brake Light
- White - Running Light

| Note |
- When the LED Product's black wire is connected to
ground, and the white wire is connected to a 12volt power source the LED's will light at
low intensity.
- When the LED Product's black wire is connected to
ground, and the red wire is connected to a 12volt power source the LED's will light at
high intensity.
- When the LED Product's black wire is connected to
ground, and both the white and red wires are connected to a 12volt power source the LED's
will light at high intensity.
